Foundation is on show on 23 and 24 March 2015 at CNIT at La Défense at the BIM World show. We are exhibiting Foundation and its various digital engineering services. We will also be part of the roundtables.
We have been selected alongside Elithis among the “200 builders for tomorrow” and exhibited at the OSONS La France show at the Grand Palais, from 4 to 7 December 2014. We are exhibiting the digital avatar of the Danube tower in Strasbourg, along with our virtual reality solutions (Oculus Rift headset). Ours is the most visited stand of the show, thank you all for your enthusiasm!
Foundation is being exhibited alongside the Elithis group at the SIMI show from 3 to 5 December 2014.
We are exhibiting many of our digital models and some of our DESIGN, BRAIN and PLAY services.
Foundation is working on the BIM digital data model of the Elithis Danube tower. Our teams are reconstituting the surrounding site using high LOD levels and many parametric developments and warning systems are being made of the building. Design and operations databases have been geo-referenced in parallel to each other to form the digital avatar. The building project is also an important area of research and development for Foundation.
In parallel we are deploying our range of PLAY services with a virtual visit in real-time to the tower and its surroundings both for design (principally) and sales. We are developing the virtual reality on the Oculus Rift headset that allows all project participants to visit the future tower in 1: 1 scale.
Our Rehabilitation project of the Beaublanc Palais des Sports has been planned with four drivers in mind: optimisation, upgrading, expansion and enhancement. In order to increase the capacity of the stadium, the level of the existing sports area has been lowered by 5 metres and the lower tiers entirely restructured. This optimisation process will take capacity to 7,500 seats, a gain of more than 2,700 seats on the current capacity.
In parallel with this optimisation, the project plans to diversify the types of spaces available, creating services lounges, dressing rooms, a restaurant and new facilities for athletes.
The stadium was fully digitised in BIM using the 1980s plans and then re-incremented with geometric data. The gauge and external access areas were parametrically scripted in order to make adjustments to access and the automated calculation of seats and visibility coefficients. Our digital model is being used to extract large amounts of data in real time for design offices.
We have been selected for the competition for the creation of a crossing between the towns of Buchelay and Mantes, alongside SNC-Lavalin and Coredia.
Visible from a wide surrounding area including from the A13, the structure provides a link between the areas of Auréines and Graviers, a mark of the presence of the Innovaparc area.
The catenary protection structures at the crossing vary in height and are made of powder-coated perforated plates fixed on a frame with an aluminium exterior and colourful interior. We are faithfully reconstructing much of the structure’s insertion site to provide design offices with topographical information enabling them to generate public roads vectors. Our teams are also modelling the proposed 2018 site and geo-referenced a lot of data from the SNCF, the municipality, local businesses and so on …
